Since he entered into the Information Technology industry, Akan Jacobs has been pushing the boundaries of technology innovation within organizations. With over 17 years of experience, Akan has been part of many important breakthroughs in very key organizations from telecommunications, financial institutions and multi-national firms. He specializes in networking, virtualization, OSS/BSS systems & strategic management.
Akan Jacobs graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, GHANA with a Bachelor of Science (BSC) in Electrical Electronics Engineering. And in pursuit to acquire more education and professional qualifications he proceeded to the American Intercontinental University, USA where he attained a Masters in Business Administration (magna cum laude). Akan went further to acquire several technology professional certifications from Red hat, Citrix, Microsoft, Cisco, IBM and Riverbed. Some of these include RSSE, DCUFD, DCSNS, DCUCD, PSDCUCAM, CCEE, CCAPM, CCSP, AWLANSE, CICCES, CEFDS, CRSSS, CCDA, WAASE, CEFFS, CCIE WRT, CCNP, CCNA. With these, Akan has been able to provide hi-tech solutions to fill vacuums in various financial institutions and telcos.
Akan wants to be that force that provides cutting-edge solutions to organizations facing challenges and creating tech savvy solutions to organizations across West Africa.
Bradley Hemphill
Director
Bradley Hemphill is an Experienced Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) in South Africa His working career began at WSP, an international firm of consulting engineers. He is registered as a professional engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and, in turn, with the International Engineer’s Mobility Forum and founded EES in 2001.
Bradley is an active member of the South African chapter of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
After many years of experience in mission critical environments, he is now one of only a handful of people in Africa to hold both the Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) qualification from the Uptime Institute, and the Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) qualification.
He has played an integral role in telecommunication projects (more specifically IP Telephony, ICT systems including Data and Telephony, and telemetry platforms) for: Alexander Forbes, EY, EY relocation, RAF Contact Centre, Standard Bank Rosebank, Weavind & Weavind Inc

Anton Hochleutner

Anton a dynamic senior BMS Professional with excellent communication and inter personal skills. He has also been a director-level executive for 12 years as market-leading distributor of high end IP CCTV, IP access control, fire detection and public address systems. Yet, he is unsatisfied and has continued to forge even higher in his career.
He has over the years acquired skills in Business Development & Strategy, Client Relationship Management, Team Leadership: HR and Sales Management, People Management as well as Solution Design.
Anton has been part of key projects like the design and implementation of the CCTV System at University of Cape Town; the implementation of the very first CCTV roll-out at University of Western Cape; the implementation and commissioning of the national CCTV roll-out for University of South Africa; the Initial CCTV roll out of Cape Technikon and several others.
Anton’s core field of knowledge is in Comprehensive Security Systems, Security System Landscape Design, Cabling and Network Infrastructure, In-depth CCTV and ACS Product Knowledge and Security System Functional Design. Anton brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on design and experience to the Converge EES leadership team.
Chidi Uchegbu

Chidi Uchegbu is a senior engineer and consultant who has been implementing and supporting mission critical enterprise networks for over 13 years. He had previously worked for top engineering and telecommunications firms and is presently in the IT industry, where his innovation and skills are being maximized.
Chidi, a Member of InfoTech Corps received his Bachelor of Technology degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka in Physics and Electronics. Furthering his quest to be a network specialist he acquired key IT professional certifications from Cisco, Citrix, Red hat amongst others making him certified in CCNP, CCNA, CCDA, CUDN, CCSP, ITIL etc.
During the previous years he has focused on network administration, Implementing VPN technologies using Cisco Security Device Manager (SDM), Design and Implement a Scaleable LAN Environment with HSRP redundancy capabilities, design and implement and provide advisory/consulting roles to deliver App Dynamics, Citrix solutions to Enterprise Financial institutions as well as multinational corporates.
Chidi’s passion is to implement and support robust mission critical enterprise networks. He delights in facing new challenges in such environments; which bring out his unique creativity.
